La Verrière is in the Vaucluse region of Provence, nestled 550m (1700') high at the edge of the 81,000 hectare (200.000 acre) protected UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Mont Ventoux. The property rests on the northern slopes of a spectacular limestone outcrop locally known as the Dentelles de Montmirail. It is situated above Crestet, an unspoiled medieval hilltop village a few minutes' drive from Vaison-la-Romaine and 45 minutes northeast of Avignon.
La Verrière is run in an ecologically responsible way. Our private forest is managed sustainably according to strict standards set and monitored by the PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) in order to preserve the welfare of its native fauna and flora.

VERY IMPORTANT: If using a GPS, Waze or Google Maps, please make sure your settings specify ONLY PAVED ROADS and take you past the village of CRESTET. It's essential that you come to us via Crestet — NOT via Seguret or any other towns — or you will end up on very rugged, unpaved back roads which are only accessible by 4x4/SUV’s.
Come up the mountain on the winding road and at the top of the village follow the sign for Chêne Bleu/La Verrière then drive 3km through the woods, staying on the ONLY PAVED ROAD.
