There are 60+ trees in the nearby olive grove which provide delectable oils. In order to create a balanced, harmonious flavour, the team at La Verrière mix the local Tanche variety of Nyons, known for its delicate nuances, with the more robust, fruity Picholine, Verdale and Salonenque olives. To honour this rich harvest, the “Olive Grove Room” has a warm green and ochre palette. Best suited to young couples or guests who travel alone, this room has a rare original olive press and an intimate sitting alcove among its decorative appointments. The charming bathroom has a single sink, a full-sized bath with shower, plus a view of the Medieval courtyard.
